Established in 2001 as a civil construction company since 2009 ADRE HYDROPOWER design, builds and invests in hydropower plants in Emerging Markets like, the Balkans (Albania, Macedonia, Serbia), Chile, Indonesia and recently in South Africa.
The company acts as a turnkey EPC: a general contractor or “water-to-wire” solutions. With a separate business unit can give FULL-Service O&M (Operation & Maintenance) of hydropower plants throughout the concessions and/or period of use.
The group can also co-invest in some projects.
Thanks to its own internal talented professionals and external network of contacts, the company is able to interface with commercial banks, with international financial institutions and the main institutions of individual countries hosting the hydropower plant.
It maintains strong relationships with leading international financial organizations such as

- EIB (European Investment Bank)
- IFC (International Finance Corporation, World Bank)
- IADB (Inter-American Development Bank)
and the main development and export credit agencies (EXIM Bank) of different countries, including

- U.S. EXIM Bank
It also enters into insurance contracts for specific country risk with leading institutions such as
- MIGA (Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency)
- SACE (Italy)
- OPIC (USA)
At the moment it has under development medium hydropower plants in Albania, Chile, Indonesia, Serbia, South Africa for a total installed power of above 300MW.
